Incitiens is a browser-based MMORPG where the world has been shattered by a fratricidal war between Akea, Goddess of Knowledge and protector of humanity, and Balor, her brother and God of War.

Akea , moved by Moloch’s unwavering loyalty, bestowed upon him a gift no mortal had ever touched: the Book of Dhan. Through him, she sought to uplift humanity, using Moloch as her chosen vessel to deliver knowledge and power to humankind.

Guarded as the greatest treasure of Kothar, the Book of Dhan rested like a relic of divine fire, its pages whispering secrets older than the world. Each chapter granted a skill, an ability forged from wisdom and arcane law. Every guild of the growing city received the teachings meant for their craft, while others learned universal arts, such as the rare gift of sensing, each lesson copied faithfully into fragments of the sacred text.

With knowledge spreading like wildfire, Kothar swelled into a luminous capital. Yet with power came hunger. The distribution of copied chapters birthed a shadowy black market, accelerating the city’s rise until it eclipsed all others: a metropolis crowned as the heart of the world.

But envy is a blade that cuts swiftly.

Other cities learned of the Book. Desire hardened into conquest, and the War for the Original Dhan ignited. Even within Kothar’s walls, factions turned against one another, each claiming the right to guard the divine manuscript.

Amid the chaos, Moloch vanished taking the Book and Akea’s school with him. He fled to an uncharted land, where he delved into the Book’s depths with relentless devotion. Knowledge transformed him; reverence from his disciples soon followed. Slowly, Moloch transcended the mortal sphere in their eyes, rising into divinity through study alone. His ambition was not the dominion of humankind but ascension into the realm of gods.

In his pursuit, he forged strange new beings, creatures that would later roam the world as living echoes of his experiments.

Sensing the fragile balance of existence shattering, Balor entered the fray. With a roar that split the heavens, he unleashed an army of legendary titans—mythic giants of ruin. Their power scorched the earth, and humanity fell beneath their wrath.

Yet all hope did not perish.

Akea gathered a handful of survivors, shielding them from annihilation. Others endured hidden in the corners of a broken world. You are one of those saved by Akea, one of the sparks she preserved, one of the seeds she intends to plant anew. Rebuild the world. Repopulate its lands. Restore what the gods’ war has shattered.
